Cheers to the new year!

Time goes by so quickly. It's already New Year's Eve, even though it seems to be just yesterday that we toasted the start of 2012. It has been an amazing year, but I'm sure next year will be even better. I can't wait to discover what 2013 has in store for me! If you ask me, this Object top is perfect for nights like these. It's festive, chic and fashionable, which makes it the perfect choice for celebrating New Year's Eve in style!

Cheers to the new year! May all your wishes come true in 2013.

Sparkling shoes

The first thing I thought when I woke up yesterday morning? Let's sparkle today! And when you think December (with Christmas and New Year's Eve), you probably think gold, so I grabbed a couple of golden clothes out of my closet and I styled them together with the sparkling loafers in this two-tone look.

Let's make a confession: since I wore this outfit last week, I want to wear it every day. Obviously I don't do that, but the fact is that these clothes are so incredibly comfortable and I totally love them! The wool cardigan keeps me warm all day (even though I'm a shivery - confession number 2), the bag is big enough to carry all my stuff with me (or just to serve as a beautiful accessoiry because I only had to bring my Iphone, wallet and other small things with me, haha - confession number 3), and the boots.. they don't need a lot of explanation, do they? They are just amazing, if you ask me.

Christmas day 2

After a wonderful first day of Christmas, I decided to wear a maxi dress on the second day of Christmas. I really like the shape of the dress. The crossed front of it makes it look very chic, and because of the sheer lower part of it (so that the legs are exposed), the dress effortlessly combines elegance and seductiveness. I almost never wear a lot of jewelry, so I chose only a little bracelet and earrings as accessoiries. I hope you all enjoyed Christmas, just like I did! Love.

The first day of Christmas

Merry Christmas everybody! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Eve yesterday. I definitely did, I feel really blessed with family like mine. Ánd I'm very grateful that I got such aaaaah-mazing gifts. At the time you're reading this, I'm probably already on my way to a Christmas dinner with my family in this little black dress. I really love the lace on the upper side of it. It's so Dolce and Gabbanna, if you ask me. Super chic, feminine and elegant.. I'm sure I'll have a great time tonight and I hope you'll enjoy yourselves too! :-)

What time is it?

Timeless clothes and accessoiries are the best, if you ask me. Take this Casio watch: it has never been out of fashion and I think it will never be. It's just a neutral accessoiry that's easy to wear with all of your silver bracelets. Yes yes, I like it. :-)

Early Christmas wishes

If you were wondering whether I disappeared from earth, the answer is no (thank god). Due to an insanely busy week, I had absolutely no time to post an outfit earlier. I truly felt but about it but happily I'm back to blogging right now! Soo... Let's seize this I'm-back-to-blogging-moment to tell you something important: I'm so so só grateful to all of your support. I can't imagine a life without blogging anymore and without you blogging wasn't that much fun! It's almost the end of the year and even though this year was amazing, I believe next year will be even better. I hope you'll keep following me, my style, and my adventures in the next year, and I hope you all may have the best end of 2012 ever. I wish you all a merry merry Christmas, and a happy New year!

Blue like the ocean

I like to be on the beach. It reminds me of perfect summer days, high temperatures and watching beautiful sunsets at the start of a long evening. It reminds me of wearing bikinis, short dresses and nice sandals. If I've got the time, I always love to walk along the coastline and let the wind blow through my hair - even if the weather isn't optimal (as in: the rain just disappeared when we took these pictures). When we went to one of my favorite lakes last weekend, I wore an outfit that consisted of several shades of blue. Wearing the navy v-neck blouse without a jacket or coat is too cold for the time of the year, but I also really like it in combination with the blazer. The matching gold buttons are like they are made for each other, don't you think?

The countryside

When I saw these boots last weekend, I immediately fell in love. They are made of rigid leather, they are water resistant, ánd they are fully lined with sheepskin so they are extremely good for preventing my toes from turning blue when the temperatures drop. I actually wanted to wear them for the first time with burgundy jeans and this turtleneck sweater (say yes to the preppy look!) but unfortunately the jeans were in the laundry so I had to stick to my plan B: I paired the boots and the top with a brown dress and same-colored tights. I hope you like this look too!

Biker boots

Ooh-la-laaaa. That's exactly what I thought when I opened the box and saw these amazing biker boots by Koah. They are a treat for the eyes, as beautiful as they are. The tough side of them (because of the rough leather and the eye-catching buckles) is perfectly balanced by their elegant fit, which make them appropriate to wear them either with skinny jeans as with a cute dress. I already told them they have to prepare theirselves, because I'm sure I'll wear them a lot. I can't wait to show them to you in an outfitpost soon! Have a nice start of the weekend xoxoox

World Forum Theatre

Music is a special thing. It can influence your mood as well as your body in general (in the sense that it's sometimes unavoidable not to move when you hear a particular song; it's like the body is moving without asking the brains for permission). Moreover, songs can evoke memories and they can bring people together. I like different types of music, but when Christmas is on its way, my love for Il Divo and Andrea Bocelli predominates. Operatic and classical music just fits the time of the year, don't you think? Anyway, I would love to visit a concert of Il Divo or Andrea Bocelli in the near future, but going to a Christmas concert was also on my to wishlist. My mother shares these same wishes regarding this, so to surprise me she bought us two tickets to see The Tenors' Christmas concert in the World Forum Theatre last Sunday. I wore a burgundy-black outfit, and we took just one picture to show my look to you! XOXO

Cold as ice

When I woke up and realized myself that the world turned white, I immediately knew it was THE day to wear my new sweater for the first time. That is, I really like the contrast of the bright blue of the knit with the pure white color of the snow. It looks amazingly enchanting, if you ask me.. I was prepared for extreme cold (I wore several layers underneath the sweater), but happily the temperature felt warmer than expected due to the sun. It was just the perfect winter day! I hope you will like the look xoxo

Most of you are probably reluctant to Uggs, but fashion is all about doing unexpected things and wearing what you like, so I hope you can appreciate the shoe choice I made last Monday though. I wore the sheepskin boots in an outfit which main component is the cardigan with the striking pattern on it. I currently really love cardigans like this, especially in combination with short dresses (also in this post). If I had to choose one type of outfit to wear all winter long, I'm almost sure it would be a look like this. However, I don't like predictability, so I'm glad I don't have to make a choice like that. I love change! :)

Lots of blue

My feeling when I discovered that my new peplum top has exactly the same color as my oversized leather tote was definitely euphoric. I thought it would be nice to style them in a casual outfit with mostly blue items, like the jeans and the jacket It's certainly an outfit that I like to wear because it's comfortable and perfect for running around the whole day. The top is from Sway Chic and if you're still looking for the perfect garment for the holidays but you don't have unlimited financial resources, I suggest looking at their webshop. They sell such nice cheap dresses!

Central station

It has been raining all day yesterday, so it was really difficult to take some proper outfitpictures. However, we managed to capture the look though. To be more specific: we went to central station and the shelter kept us dry. I wore a comfortable look (as I currently do most of the time because I still have to get used to the colder weather) that consisted of my new oversized navy sweater, an off-white lace dress and my I-want-to-wear-them-all-the-time wedge sneakers. I really love V-neck knits at the moment because I think they look more feminine than their counterparts with round necklines. I still love the latter, but variation does the trick, I guess. ;-)
