Ready to go

When I saw this bright red knit in store last weekend, I immediately knew it would go home with me. I've searched for a V-neck sweater for a long time but I didn't manage to find the perfect one until that moment, so I was really excited when this one crossed my path. I'm usually a little reluctant to buying sweaters in bright colors (I think they just don't work for me), but I honestly believe this one is even better than if it was black or brown or so. If you ask me, red is definitely the to-go-for color this fall. I paired the knit with leather panel leggings, a bright red enveloppe clutch and the black boots I showed a couple of weeks before (here). All in all, it's a super duper comfortable look that keeps you warm all day!

Two colors

I think the hardest challenge that comes with the cold is finding the ultimate combination between keeping yourself warm and looking good - or at least looking like you're not wearing your boyfriend's or father's clothes everyday. Don't get me wrong, I truly believe that wearing awkward clothes that keep you warm are a far better choice than catching a cold, but I try to discuss the fact that it's often the case that looking fashionable is accompanied by freezing of your limbs the whole day. However, one solution to this problem is definitely wearing a jumper. There are millions of different jumpers in the marketplace, and even though most of them are far from elegant and feminine, I always try to style them in a way that they become. The one with ruffles that I wore yesterday is easy to combine with a lot of different items, and I decided to pair it with a black peplum skirt and suede sandals. I'm aware of the fact that the bottom part of the outfit isn't perfectly resistant to the cold, but I'm still looking for nice pants that are comfortable and goodlooking at the same time. I'm currently searching at Buffalo jeans and I think this might be the place where I'll succeed!

Palmtrees and a beautiful sunset

It can be very cozy when the weather turns colder and the days become darker. Winter is the time of celebrating Christmas with your family, going crazy on New Year's Eve parties, having an early-morning breakfast with plenty of candles (my favorite!), and sitting in front of the fireplace with the people you love. However, I'm still more the summer-type of girl, so when I got my new Iphone last week (finally I've got access to instagram @theonlyfashionprincess again), I immediately knew the type of case I wanted to have: one that reminds me of the amazing summer I had this year. I decided to design one myself that shows the sunset that I captured in Greece in one of the first days of August. I wanted my name in elegant letters on it too, to get the case even more personal. The result is exactly how I wanted it to be, and I really want to thank the website that made it possible to easily create your own cases, Caseable, for bringing my summer memories back to life! So if you ever need a new laptop/phone/tablet/e-reader/iPad case, go see their website..

The purple surprise

OMG it has been too long since my latest post! I was so so so busy, but I promise I'll do my best to never let it happen again. :-) For now, I'll show you some pictures with the dress I received a couple of weeks ago. I was really surprised by its color (I can't remember the last time that I wore a piece of clothing in this shade), but I love having new experiences so I thought it would be great to give it a try.

PS I'll announce the winner of the giveaway tomorrow, so keep an eye on your inbox! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Stripes and jeans

Casual outfits always do the trick, don't you think? Personally, I really love the combination of striped sweater and skinny jeans. It's very simple, but it's perfect when paired with a glamorous faux fur coat and wedge sneakers! Have a wonderful Saturday night, partypeople!

Short but decent

A dress that's on the short side can be tricky when it's winter and you're not on the beach at some tropical destination, but when paired with an oversized knitted cardigan that covers your butt, there's no problem at all. In fact, I think the combination of these two items is perfect when creating a non-sexless winter outfit (especially when wearing with sky-high ankle boots). To be honest, I'm not sure whether non-sexless is an official word, but I use it as the opposite of "a sexless look", which refers to the cozy winter outfit that consists of oversized sweatpants and a shapeless hoodie.. I chose to wear the checkered bag as a clutch, because I hoped it would give that desired subtle touch of glam to the look. And in my opinion..It served as a good addition to the elegant earrings and the stunning studs on the shoulders of the cardigan!

PS the cardigan is from Goddiva, and I want to mention their blog because they're looking for some talented girls that want to showcase their style! If you feel like you're the one for them, click here,

The driving force

As most of you might know, I love spending time with my mother. She's definitely my best friend, and I really feel like I'm the younger version of her. We always laugh about everything and I can't imagine a life without her. Actually, she's the driving force behind this blog because of her willingness to make pictures and above all her kind words of encouragement. Mom, thank you for being so fabulous! We both really like walking and watching beautiful parts of nature, and the deserted lake we found last weekend is definitely the evidence that these nice locations don't require to drive miles and miles. I wore my new - amazing - Friis & Company shoes and paired them with shiny pants called "disco pants" (très cool), my parka, and many other layers that served to keep me warm (and they succeeded). All in all, a nice outfit for a good day. Love these kinds of Saturdays!

Pastel and black

At first time, I wasn't sure about posting these pictures because their quality isn't fantastic, but I decided to show them to you though. It's an outfit I wore a little while ago, and we had literally only a few seconds to make these two pics. I thought a total pastel-colored look was a little inappropriate because it was raining all the time and it was cold like hell, so I combined the top and the skirt with black items to get a more fall/winter-look. For now, I'm off to an exciting meeting, so "see ya" tomorrow! Enjoy your Saturday evening! :) Ciao Ciao!

Walk with me

Let's be honest with you: I own this dress in four colors. I've got one in black, one in navy, one in grey, and this one. And the worst thing is.. I wouldn't mind getting it in another color as well! Because they're so basic it's really easy to combine with so many different items, and I think they even have got the potential to look very chic with only tights, ankle boots, a beautiful leather bag and simple earrings like these ones. I haven't worn the brown version of the dress for a year or so, so it was time to grab it out of my closet again last Monday. I paired it with a knitted short-sleeved cardigan and my oh-so-amazing Guess ankle boots, which are the main reason why I want to buy more brown clothes this fall, by the way. ;-) What do you think?

Dressed down

How much I love dressing up even when I don't go to a party or another special occasion, I also enjoy a dressed down style once in a while. I spent a great day with my dad yesterday, and this comfortable-look-to-the-max kept me warm all the time. The wedge sneakers are definitely  my best friends since I got them a couple of weeks ago. They are extremely friendly to my feet and I think they look totally cool. I do not combine navy (the shoes) with black (the beanie and the sunglasses) a lot, but I was breaking all the chic fashion rules (if there are any) by wearing this ridiculously oversized cardigan and a filthy football instead of a leather bag anyway, so if you ask  me, this color combination was more than appropriate.
