Neutral colors

Sometimes, items that you own for a while are the best choice when putting an outfit together. This long cardigan has been in my closet for two years now and it's perfect to layer up when the weather becomes colder. It feels like I already wore it a hundred times and people are still asking me whether it's a new purchase. I guess it's because of its neutral color. I decided to pair it with a lace dress and off-white bag, to avoid the I-always-wear-dark-clothes-when-it's-raining-outside look.

To be honest, that wasn't the true reason (haha). I don't have any problems with wearing dark clothes during fall and winter, because I think it looks amazingly chic. The real reason that I chose to combine the kaki cardigan with the off-white dress and bag is actually very innocent: I simply felt like the combination of these colors was perfect that day. Dressing up is all about listening to your heart, isn't it? My heart also told me not to wear an overload of jewelry, and - for no specific reason - I only wear earrings the last couple of days. I can't get enough of little diamond stud earrings, and my collection of them seems to grow bigger and bigger, especially now I discoverd My Jewelry Box.

The parka

Nothing better than going on a shopping spree when you wear comfortable clothes, right? And when these comfortable clothes are fashionable at the same time, you found the winning combination. Anyway.. that's the way I think about it!

The hairy coat

It's incredible how temperature has changed in the last couple of days. It went from 22 degrees on Monday to four degrees today and believe me when I tell you that it feels like winter has already started. I'm definitely more into summer (say yes to temperatures of 30 degrees and up!) butttt the cold outside has become much more pleasant lately. The reason for that?? My new black hairy coat! I've wanted this one for two years now (why I didn't buy it earlier?) and I almost can't describe my happiness about it. I decided to wear it with basic items like a white tee and beautiful leather bag today, and - if you ask me - the necklace did a great job in making the look extra special. What's your opinion, people? :)

Your princess

My biggest obsession in the field of fashion? Beautiful dresses! I could spend hours watching the most wonderful gowns at the internet, and I often wish that it would be appropriate to wear party dresses to university (I always wear what I like without bother myself to the opinion of others, but attending my lectures in a short red feather dress and high stilettos is too much, even for me haha..). Anyway, I wore this enchanting little black dress last weekend when having dinner. I paired it with the multifunctional black pumps I wore many times on the blog before, and the main accessoires I used were the absolutely gorgeous earrings that you can see clearly in the fifth picture. If you ask me, they are amazingly chic and they complements the dress (with the rhinestones on the top) in a magnificent way. What do u think?

Shining star

Sparkles are a girl's best friend. Or I'm just a magpie that turns wild when she sees something that's beautiful and shiny like this wonderful top and these silver shorts. Have an amazing start of the week, people! XOXO

The golf course

For some reason, people always ask me whether I'm going to play golf when I wear these checked pants. To reinforce their idea, I thought it would be cool to pair the pants with the Tommy Hilfiger scarf that I wore on the blog once before (do you remember when there was a lot of snow last year, brrrr..). It's one of my favorite scarves, because of its exquisite fabric, its lovely colors, and its perfect size. The two bracelets I wore are very similar to each other, even though they are from various origins: the biggest one is handmade by my grandmother, and the smaller one is from a lovely webshop that I recently discovered: Shine Accessoiries. The sunglasses are also brandnew in my collection, but I'll show you these beauties from Boss Orange clearer in one of the upcoming outfitposts. :-)

I gradually get an idea about the items I want to own this season. My winter-look will be a combination of comfort (I prefer to avoid frozen body parts) and femininity. It will be all about elegant sweaters (I currently like V-neck knits!), stunning flat ánd high heeled boots, high-quality leather bags, and beautiful lingerie like this gooorgeous bralette from Agent Provocateur. And as you can see below, I tend to wear clothes in base colors like black and white when the days are becoming darker. I think the most magical time of the year requires dressing a little mysterious!

Shades of grey

No, this post isn't about Fifty shades of grey (that - as it seems - everyone except from me wants to read haha) but it's about the outfit I wore last Sunday. I've wanted a skirt like this for a long time, so when I received it in my mailbox I immediately created a look with it. I paired it with a grey short-sleeved sweater (also in this post), and decorated it with a crochet scarf that I rediscovered after not wearing it for seven years or so. I'm not the kind of person that keeps unused things in my closet (or better: in my life) for a long time, but I'm really glad I made an exception with this scarf. I think it looks really charming and it's easy to combine with a lot of different looks.

We agreed to go to the Christmas exhibition at the garden center (that started last week) in one of the first days of November, but when the weather turned out to be incredibly rainy today, we already went to the garden center to take some outfitpictures. I promise to omit the pictures of the Christmas trees and the reindeers because it's just October and some of you probably still enjoy indian summer days, but we also made a lot of other photos! I wore my new wedge sneakers by Ash and the blue blazer that I bought in London last year, and paired them with a long white tshirt and burgundy Tommy Hilfiger bag and belt. I really like the combination of blue and burgundy, it's perfect for fall!
