White and lace

"Time flies when you have fun" - that's definitely true. It's already the last week of my summer vacation and fall is waiting for us. Everyone talks about the winter collections and I find myself thinking about a new winter coat yesterday as well. Yep, summer's ending again.. It's too bad because we all will miss the sun, the balmy summer evenings, and the sexy biknis, but I'm sure we'll rock this autumn and winter too! Honestly, I can't wait to see what the new seasons will bring to us!

ps for the Dutch people: Aanstaande zondag verkopen wij mijn kleding (en andere kleding, maat 32 t/m 42) in de jaarbeurshallen in Utrecht tegen kleine prijsjes! Ik heb een heeeele grote kastopruiming gedaan, en alles moet weg! Het zou leuk zijn als je even langskomt. Tot dan. :-)

Nude and white

I'm aware of the fact that I'm wearing this skirt for the 3th or the 4th time on the blog in a relatively short time period, but it's my favorite skirt and I want to wear it as much as the weather allows it. And given the fact that they expect rain rain and uhhh rain for today and for the upcoming weeks, I couldn't resist to grab it out of my closet again yesterday. I paired it with my gorgeous nude pumps and a new Graham & Spencer top that I've got via Shoppalu (if you've got a little time, you should take a look at the Graham & Spencer fall 2012 lookbook, it's the perfect balance between simple and ah-ma-zing-ly cool). I also wore my new necklace for the first time. I love that it looks like something that ancient tribes wore, but that it's sooo chic and elegant at the same time. I lent the Tod's bag of my mom (which I do quite often because I love it more than she does, I guess haha) and chose to wear bracelets in the same color as the bag. Orange flowers

I own this dress for a couple of months now, but I wanted to wait until the perfect occasion to wear it before I'd show it to you. This perfect occasion was yesterday, so here are the pictures of the outfit. The dress has definitely an elegant look because of its shape, its print and above all because of the cute peplum on it. I love these kind of decent dresses so much. They're perfect for formal events, but they also look great when going out on a hot summer evening. I paired the dress with my beloved Armani sunglasses, the white clutch and the orange heels (that are for sale in my blogshop) that you've probably seen before. My hair was a little wavy and I chose to style it to one side of my head to get the desirable feminine touch. What do you think, did it work?

White lace

White is definitely my favorite color this summer, so it was a pleasant surprise when I found this lovely dress in my mailbox a couple of days ago. I didn't consider it necessary to use a lot of jewelry, so I used only a few accessoiries like the leather clutch, two bracelets and my Armani sunglasses. I wore my favorite black pumps, and I still think they are one of the most elegant shoes I own. And they are comfortable, which is also a plus.

Welcome to the 80s baby

Because the temperature in Holland has not been this high since the beginning of the 90s, we're all going to the beach these days. I went two times this week, but I stayed at home to have some fun in the backyard today. I wore my bikini most of the time, but this was the look I wore in the early morning when I went out to have a little walk. It's 80s inspired, with the bare midriff and the high-waisted shorts. I recently DIY'ed the shorts and I decided to pair them with my dotted Converse shoes. My mother told me the outfit "isn't appropriate because it's 2012" but I know better. Haha, or if she's right: I don't care. I love to try a different style, no matter what's hot or not at the moment. ;-)

Beautiful sunsets, a little peek of my breathtaking walking route (I truly felt like Scofield from prison break when walking through the sandy landscape, along high fences, cliffs and huge rocks), the beautiful beach, me acting like a silly fitness guru or something like that, my DIY studded shorts, delicious foods, and many many more. I can't wait to return to this place aka paradise on earth.

Black and yellow

I chose a yellow top and black shorts for the last night in Greece. I'm rather reluctant to the yellow/black combo because I'm always afraid I'll look like a bee when wearing it, but I think this outfit worked out pretty well. Probably you're already tired of my black sandals, but they were my favorites on this vacation (comfortable, black, and high-heeled; do I need to say more?) so I hope you'll forgive my not-so-varying choice for shoes. ;-)

Beautiful memories

Beautiful memories, that's all this vacation was about. I still can't get used to being home again, but I'm trying to be as much as optimistic about (the rainy and cold weather in) Holland as possible, haha. This is what I wore at one of the nights in Greece. It's a simple look, consisting of cream-colored lace shorts and top. Luckily my hair wasn't as straight as usual, so that it looked a little more "beachy". I chose black accessoiries to give the look some edginess.

Free bird

After an ah-ma-zing week I'm back home from Greece. I've got many pictures to show to you, and I confess I'm already making plans to return within a couple of months. For now, just one picture of me in DIY studded shorts and a simple white tee. A perfect combination, if you ask me. Firstly, you can never go wrong with a black and white combination and secondly, the outfit is very comfortable and the best choice for having an early-morning walk in warm areas.
