Ladylike

Change. It's a fascinating phenomenon. Everything can change in a relatively short time period, whether we like it or not. Even our own thoughts are subjects to change and I think it's funny to observe how they evolve over time. Consider ideas about fashion. I still remember myself the day I stated that "my style would probably become different within a few years, but I'm sure I'll never wear pointy heels and midi skirts in my younger years". And here we are: I'm a nineteen year old girl, it's the end of the fourth month of the year, and I'm wearing a dotted midi pencil skirt and I bought my first pair of ah-ma-zing pointy wedges yesterday. Actually, I have to say I'm pretty obsessed with midi skirts in general at the moment, and I'm still regretting the fact that I didn't bought another pair of pointy pumps I saw in stores yesterday..

Recent months

These are some of the outfits I've posted in recent months. They are all quite different, which makes it hard for me to name my style in just a few words. So, I need your help guys. How would describe my style? Have a nice weekend xoxo

Effortlessly chic

Boyfriend jeans, a military jacket, high heels and a big leather bag. Yep, that's my suit to brave the cold and rainy weather that we're facing in Holland right now. You wouldn't say it's actually April, but I still believe it's just a matter of time until the sun appears and the temperature rises. Anyway, I felt very comfortable in this look. I like the effortless vibe of owns.

Feel the magic

Even though I showed you this dress before, I couldn't resist taking a picture with it again when I wore it yesterday evening. What was I supposed to do? Did I had another choice? It's almost impossible to just walk through an enchanting landscape like this when wearing a wonderful dress and a bag/shoes that match the environment, without capturing the moment with a camera..

Unexpected back

Fortunately, we had a brief moment to take pictures between the rain showers today. I had to overcome my fear when taking my new suede sandals out while the pavements were still wet, but happily they survived without being damaged. I wore a dark outfit, and tried to brighten it up by adding the colorful clutch to the look. I hope you like it. Have a nice weekend everyone! XOXO

Wait for me at the top of the stairs

I usually don't like wearing a long-sleeved shirt underneath a top without sleeves, but I believed it looked really cute in case of this dress. You can see it as Little Red Riding Hood living in a not so warm country, I guess. ;-)

DIY pencil skirt and orange pumps

I love making clothes. Creating something exactly like you want it to be gives such an amazing feeling. I made this draped/asymmetric pencil skirt last week and I really like the result. It's length and shape is feminine, but the waterfall at the back makes the skirt young and playful at the same time. I styled it with my new orange pumps. I totally adore them. Their color is so bright and just perfect.. They're definitely eye-catchers!

ps I already got some questions about making a tutorial, but I didn't used a sewing pattern or something like that when I made this skirt. I just started and visualized how I wanted it to be (without making any pictures of the steps I took). The result is this unique and amazing skirt, but it's also very difficult for me to explain to you how to make it. However, when I've got a little more time, I'll do the best I can to figure out how to make the steps clear to you! xo
